I Love Candy…in Cake Form
Actually, if you know me well enough, you know I love candy in pretty much all forms.
So naturally I fell for this treat whipped up by my friend Laura from Whimsy Sweet Creations. Besides tasting yummy, it’s pure eye candy (pun intended!). These days, every party has a themed dessert bar—this takes the trend to a new level with an artsy, stunning presentation.
Much like my work draws from ideas found while traveling, Laura was inspired by sweets she discovered on a trip to Paris many years ago. She incorporates candy from European confectioners into her cakes, giving them a unique flair.
